So, Tuesday I woke up a bit before noon (bad habit, I know) and foundout that Stefy, Jan, Kimji, and many people were in Attohwa Chasm. Before I started asking what was up, Stefy asked me to come for the fun! So, I set out on my White Mage, to the Rostrum Pumps pop event.

When I arrived, they were doing the last 5 pops. I joined the alliance, not noticing that Pyric wasn’t a PLD but BST! A lot of familiar faces where there, Cornelious included. Jibb was also there, with MinamiKaze pearl off, because he was annoyed by the fast-stream text XD Jerry….was a Ranger!? O_o?!!

I was a bit groggy from my waking up, and I’ve never been in the scene with this NM before. So I didn’t know what to do and where to stand. Luckily, though, that I was a healer, so basically just keeping everyone alive was fine. Still, all the commotions around – the crowd and Beastmaster’s pets included – made my head spin even more. It was so hard to keep track of things that were going on.

I had the LS chat, the /tell chat, and the PT chat. And sometimes when we joke or talked off topic, we used /say. I had the lines of battle log running as fast as a falling elevator, and I had people and monster running back and fourth on my screen. It was totally @.@!!

To make the matter worse, that Feeler Antlion kept popping the Executioner Antlion, not the Alaster! They kept coming, and people kept killing. It was like unending nightmares. I went OMFG!? when Duckie mentioned that they had been there for like 6 hours or so. Gee….

The first battle since I arrived was their 4th from last pop. It was an unlucky pop, because the NM trigger kept digging up the wrong Antlions.But we won, eventually, and of course the person got the drop.

The next pops were way better. ALaster Antlion popped quite quickly. And when it did pop, they pulled it away, letting people split and deal with each Antlion with ease.

It was fun running around to get into casting range on alliance members when not so many Antlion were running around in every direction @.@

During downtime while we waited for the spot to repop, I went downstairs and fixed myself a lunch. When I came back they were already start fighting, to keep the camp clear of links. Then we finished the last pop. I think I left half of my meal on the desk for like 30 minutes or so, because I couldn’t sneak in too many bites. When I tried to eat continuously, someone would look half-dead and I had to let go of my spoon, lol!

The session ended happily. Some people were half asleep, some had to crawl into bed hastily, due to their timezone’s limit. LOL!

Well, since it’s Sunbreeze Festival, recently my Vana’diel Adventuring life has been full of chatting, frolicking, relaxing, and slacking off. However, in this couple of days I’ve done something considerably productive.

I’ve mined with Duckie and got Jan a bunch of Darksteel Ore for her Smithing. I’ve made as well as signed a few furnishings, cages and tables for examples, for myself and a few friends. So, now my Fafnir Statue does not seem like it’s going to flip off the table anymore. Moreover, I’ve received a Hammock from Jan and thus I rearranged my Mog House! In 2 days, I’ve gained over 5000 Guild Point from Culinarian’s Guild because Jan reminded me to turn in GP items. I’ve also leveled some of my crafting skills.

Short story : Today I got my Woodworking to level 40, and am ready for Guild Test. It requires a Traversiere (Bard’s instrument) and I bought one (how sneaky!) from Jeuno.

Long story : Today I went to mine in Gusgen with Duckie and then left her (she was leaving for bed as well) to join Cornelious in Kuftal. He was with his Japanese buddy named Kennchann. We fished for Devil Manta and ran around killing stuff, hoping for NMs to pop. We got 2 or 3 Mantas, I can’t remember, but non dropped the Angelskin. Also, my fishing kinda suck, I couldn’t hook the NM >.> All I got was Pugils. Lame!

Then after we killed a Pugil (other people got the Manta) Corny /heal to rest and we talked a little bit. He then went quiet and wouldn’t get up. Meanwhile, Kennchann went to check on Treasure Coffer for some money. After a long while, Corny still didn’t move, so we suspected he fell asleep already XD Poor thing! He’s been up all night and must be very tired.

So, after one more attempt to fish up the NM (which failed) Kennchann logged out. I asked a camper there (Twolipsrbetter) about aggro pop and he said sometimes Scorpion pops in the area. Therefore, I abductedCornelious to Altep with my Teleport spell and left him there. I went back to Bastok and started leveling up my Woodworking until it hit level 40.

Oh…and….

Trying to level up my Woodwork, I used Beetle Arrow recipe and then Fang Arrow Recipe, burning some of my junks as well as mule’s Crystals.

Well, during the production of Fang Arrow Heads, I also got my Bonecraft to level 36 from 35. Oh, and by mining as a team with Duckie, we got a few Silver Ores which I synthesized and gained a few skill points, bringing my Goldsmithing to level 16.

Other crafts, however, haven’t moved yet.

Today is my lucky day

Today, I was preparing for an overnight trip out of town with my father and mother. However, since I wanted to frolick in Vana’diel for a little while before having to leave it for 2 days, I logged in to the game. I did a lot of thing this morning. Hanging out with Cornelious in his Mog House, admiring my hand-crafted cage in his house, talking about furnishings, making some more cages, grabbing Alecredion and making him put my signed cage inside his house, buying Yagudo Feathers for Elfitine, and teleporting Duckie to Dem.

Well, after a long talk between me, Jan, and Corny, we noticed that the Mog-Tablet discovery was going on. Corny rushed to Jeuno and went to Battalia. He also told me I should go out and find it. I said something like, I’m leaving the house soon so forget it! But then I found out that my mother was still preparing for the trip, so I went to Konschtat Highlands. I ran around, sweeping the area hopelessly. Starting from the Crag of Dem to northeast, making a U-turn after I got to near the Passhow zone, continuing southward and then sweeping west.

Elfitine saw that people found so many Mog-Tablets in a very short timespan and gave up. Corny got beaten to Battalia’s one. So I kind of ran around aimlessly…concentrating more on the chat (and munching) than looking for the Tablet.

The conversation went like….

Corny: I was lucky to find mine last week. Wasn’t paying attebtion and was stuck at a wall while running, when I looked back, the Tablet was there.
Corny: When Stefy said the Nomad Moogle Statue was rare I felt so lucky.
Alec: How close you need to get, to see it??
Corny: idk I read 20 w/e thingies

Then more and more Mog-Tablets were discovered, West Sarutabaruta being the 10th.I got discouraged, but still running around.

Corny: It didn’t seem like I looked away that much though, so I’d say 10.
Corny: And I didn’t even see it on the ground or anything like a shine.
Corny: I think it’s just walk around and hope for a land mine.
Alec: Awwww…

At that point I felt even more hopeless and started dropping my attention. Then I ran without specific direction, hitting TAB key on a Tremor Ram and various goblins. Then I ran into a wall while nibbling on some cherries, and noticed that my target wasn’t yellow…but green!

Turning back I saw…

Alec: Mog-Tablet!!!
Alec: OMG OMG
Alec: OMG!!!!!!! (<<< I was overjoyed at that time)
Corny: !!!!!!!!!!!!!
LS: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Corny: Get it! Touch it quick lol! Before someone steals it XD
Alec: Got! I got it!

So I headed to Jeuno for my reward. It turned out that my Tablet was the Tablet of Courage. So I got an Argent Coat (male’s tuxedo >.> which I can’t wear) and a Kupofried’s Ring. Anyway…..still it’s a lucky encounter!

Woot! I felt so lucky it didn’t seem true.

Duckie was more thrilled about the Super Kupowers we would get. She was hoping for Swift Shoes ot Atrisan’s Adventage like last week. XD But, duh, we didn’t get any of those.

By the way, the Moogle made me sign something…. Well, he was cunning. He made it sound as if he was thrilled to have met me and wanted my autograph so much that I forgot to ask what was it! Hopefully it’s not an evil kind of slave contract like what President Naja did to me. :\
