Or I should say, I’m a person who tried to be nice.

I try to not get pissed off.

I try to not yell at people.

I try to restrain from swearing.

(Err… well, recently I’ve been using bad words excessively, due to emotional outburst during the week LOL)

But I now have a confession, I snapped and said STFU in sky LS today.

I shouldn’t have said that. I want so much to take it back. If I could turn back time, I would say this instead;

“Shut up and stop pretending to be blind, can you not see that I am standing right next to you waiting for my Penury ability for half MP consumption so I won’t have to waste my precious 135 MP to raise your useless ass. One more word from you and I swear I’m going to walk pass, over your dead body, and use my MP to cure other people who’re being useful to the fight instead.”

Seriously, when Despot pops and we get the claim, everyone runs to the tree area and fight there to avoid magic aggro. This goes without further explanation, especially when we’re all busy in action like that. You have to react quickly, and correctly, not just to save your own life, but to prevent stupid mistake from happening and ruining our plan. If you stand there  to fight it, it’s just natural that mages would let you die, because they don’t want to aggro dolls surrounding you and them. And when people yell “Run!” “Pull it to the tree!” “Move!” or “Come this way!” it does not mean they want you to just stand there like dumb and straight tank Despot.

Well, dying to Despot from failure to run or kite correctly was one thing, demanding or asking for raise with a mere single word “raise” after you die like that is another matter.

That “raise” was what snapped my last damn nerve (“last damn nerve” quote courtesy to Michael Camp from his FB wall post LOL)

Of course when a White Mage is standing next to a fallen alliance member… oh wait… a fallen party member, even, is it not clear enough that he or she acknowledges your death and is looking into giving you a raise? Or maybe you think they’re standing there smoking weeds?

I come to sky as a White Mage to save people from dying or from laying dead until they rot, not to be ordered around. Seriously, pay some damn respect, please. Especially when you mess up your own HP and empty the friggin’ bar with your own mistake.

I was, honestly, utterly angry at that whole situation.

I’m truly in a foul mood.

Before, I was in quite a good mood. I miss old music, so I started browsing YouTube for some songs I like. Then I found a bunch of Metallica’s songs. I’ve hit the treasure cave! Yeaha! Long list of Metallica songs, awaiting to be clicked. I was in heaven. I listened to several songs, mainly from the “Black Album” and And Justice For All. Then I noticed something that turned my mood foul.

Seriously, when one really like something, praising it is the most reasonable thing to do. Express your love of it, let the world know, share your cool opinion with the rest of their fans, that’s what I would do, and would like to see. I usually read some of the comments on YouTube pages, because sometimes people leave comments to suggest some other songs, albums, or artists that we might also like. But what I saw….not only on one or a few occasions today, but many, was that someone would throw insult about other artist, either explicitly or implicitly.

The most stupid type of bad comments that I saw today was “123 fans of –beep– disliked this song.” 123 would be whatever number that indicates how many times people hit “dislike” button on specific VDO.

That is just disturbingly sick. Lousy assumption. People have a thousand of reasons to rate down a VDO. Maybe they hate the owner of the VDO, maybe they dislike the slideshow that comes with it, maybe they really don’t like that specific song, or maybe the sound quality in that VDO displeased them. Worse yet, maybe they thumb down the song just because some fans are douchebags and pissed them off.

Seriously, if you don’t like some certain artists, just friggin’ leave them alone. Why would you bring up the name of whom you hate and post it on the page of whom you really like? If you hate them just don’t listen to them and don’t talk about them. No one would kill you if you don’t mention the names of whatever artist you hate. No one would kill you if you don’t throw insults around. It’s disgraceful manner and totally uncalled for. By flaming artists you hate, you’re not contributing anything useful at all. Please use some brain and just say something good about the band or the song that you like, express how much or why you like the song. Share your positive opinion about the artist you love and their songs with the rest of the fans who would love to read it.

When one wants to have good reputation or look good in other people eyes, they should do good things and let other people know about it. Talking crap about other people, to make them look bad, won’t help you to look better at all. You know, kicking or stomping other people down lower does not make you rise any higher. If you want to rise higher, climb up yourself. Likewise, to praise your beloved artist, you should say good thing about them. Bashing other artists doesn’t help at all. And it might even make other people think that you, and us, the rest of the fans, are nothing but idiots who like to start a fight and start a flame war.

I honestly think those who bash other artists, either just for fun, for satisfaction, to piss of their fans, or for whatever reason, are the disgrace of us, the true fans (of Metallica, in this case.)

Metallica is so great, they don’t need your lousy attempt to flatter their reputation. Their songs are awesome enough that they don’t need anyone to trash-talk about other artists. If you’re a real fan, stop dragging them down with your filthy attitude and rude comment.

I was there to enjoy the music, but those stupid fans ruined the moment and my mood. GRRRRRR!!!

Guess it’s better to just dig around in my room to find the CDs, so I can enjoy it without having to see any more nonsense.

After laying dead in Bahamut’s battlefield for a while, we figured that we should just Home Point. Because I, the only one still with RR on, tried to get up once and instantly aggroed the Wyrm King at longer distant than casting range. FU, Bahamut! t(-”-)

So we regrouped and rearranged party. Some people had to go to sleep so we tried to discuss what to do next. Then Kennchann, Arkades, and Holidiver popped. We were considering whether to reattempt Bahamut now or tomorrow…. Then Cornie said “Oh, Kenichi wants to kill that huge dragon for the new dagger.” I asked him which dragon, hoping it wasn’t the black dragon in the sky of Xarcabard (S) because it ate a million of people, including us! And it turned out to be an Abyssea NM in Tahrongi. I said, of course, love to kill shits!

Then we gathered. I don’t know the detail on how Corn planned or explained stuff, but we got 6 ppl before entering. Me being the ambulance, Corn changed to BLM, DK brought his nuker puppet, Holydiver was BLU, Kenken as BRD, and Ark being the uber tank PLD. So the brief information was that this Wyrm will fly, so we cannot reach it with any kind of melee attack. Main DD would be the nukers. Ark would confront it and try to stay in the lower spot of the hill, in order to make use of the terrain to keep the AoE damage away from us. Me? I was to keep people alive as usual.

So while we were walking to the Wyrm spot, we stopped by at one or two Conflux to activate teleporter. So the conversation went like….(I didn’t save chatlog, so this was all rewritten from rough memory)

DK : “So I use my puppet to nuke and do I melee it too?”
Corn : “Can’t hit it, it’s a flyer.”
DK : “Oh, really?”
Holy : “Crap, does that mean I should set magical spells instead of physical?”
Corn : “Yes dude.”
Ark : “How tough is he? I have 27 Magic Def. Bonus, will that do?”
Corn : “That’s a lot already.”
Alec : “Hope he’s not as thick skinned as the damn turtle.”
Corn : “Ummm not sure, Kennchann said yesterday they tried with 12 ppl and failed.”

Err…. Don’t we have 6 people at the moment?

ก็ไม่รู้ว่าเขาคุยอะไรกันยังไง และมีรายละเอียดแบบไหนบ้าง แต่สรุปว่า Arkades กับ Holidiver ตกลงจะไปช่วยด้วย ก็เลยไปรวมตัวกันที่หน้า Maw เพื่อรอเข้าไปอะบิส ปรากฏว่าเคนจังคนชวนแม่งมาสายสุด (บู่วววววววว) เราก็เข้าไป แล้วเดินกันอย่างเรื่อย ๆ ชิล ๆ ใครเปิดช่องเทเลพอร์ตใกล้จุดหมายแล้วก็ไป ใครไม่ได้เปิดก็ใช้อันอื่นที่ใกล้ ๆ ไปก่อน แล้วค่อยเดินต่อ อ่า อาชีพก็มี PLD, WHN, BLM, PUP, BRD, BLU กะว่าเข้าไป nuke เยอะ ๆ เพราะมันเป็นมังกรที่บินได้ เลยฟันไม่โดน

ระหว่างที่ยังเดินไปไม่ถึงจุดหมาย ก็เกิดบทสนทนาขึ้น…. เนื่องจากไม่ได้ก็บแชทล็อกไว้ เลยเขียนแบบเอาที่หลาย ๆ คนพูดมายำ ๆ รวมกัน

DK : “ให้ puppet ยิง nuke แล้วให้ผมสู้ประชิดตัวด้วยมั้ยอ่ะ”
Corn : “อัดไม่โดนน่ะ มันบิน”
DK : “อ้าว เหรอ”
Holy : “เวร งี้ก็ต้องเซ็ทคาถาพวกที่เป็น magical แทนสินะ”
Corn : “เออ สิ”

Anyway, we got to the camp, Corn walked around explaining things and the tactics to avoid AoE, battle plans, and etc. Then he ran to Kennchann to help pulling. We got ready (brace for the impact!) And so the Wyrm arrived… He sure looks intimidating. Ark pulled first hate once they arrived, and both Cornie and Kenken got into position. Cuelebre started with a nasty move…. Slowga. Which really pissed me off. He kinda cast it right before my Haste landed. So my Haste had no effect on Ark…. So I got angry and cast Erase on Ark, haste myself, then haste Ark, only to find out that the damn Wyrm cast Slowga again, nullifying my Haste. GAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! You bastard!!!!!!!

เมื่อไปถึงแคมป์ คอร์นก็จัดแจงอธิบายตำแน่งยืน และเรื่อง AoE บลา ๆ ๆ เสร็จแล้วก็ไปช่วยเคนอิจิพูลมังกรมาที่แคมป์

So we back line people stay up here, letting Ark have a face-off with Cuelebre alone. Holy would run in and spam his Blue Magics, DK would send his puppet in to land nukes. Ken buffs the mages and helps with the cures, and Cornie nuke the hell out of it. We seemed to be doing good, because AoE damage didn’t hit the back liners.

Once in a while I would run in to recast Barstonra for Ark to help with the AoE damage. Look at how small I am….Comparing to the Wyrm’s foot. I think he could crush my Mithra with one swift stomp on the ground. LOL

Then sometimes enmity would go crazy, due to lack of physical damage from the tank, and Ark would have to fight so hard to get back the hate. The big bad bully would try to come into the mages corner to eat Corn. See I didn’t even stand at his spot, I had to run and stood far away. Squishy squishy!

By the way, I bought 3 stats enhancements from Cruor guy. I got Max HP up, Max MP up, and INT MND CHR up. It’s kinda cool I was having 70+73 MND, as oppose to the normal +63.

The fight was tough and people had to be on toes. MP was a big issue. Ark did very well and he always last long enough for my Devotion to recharge (15 mins.) I don’t like to badmouth other people, but some lousy paladins would use up all the MP they got my my Devotion (about 280 MP to 300 MP) within 5-8 minutes. That really pissed me off…. Like, they didn’t manage their own MP well and then became vulnerable and couldn’t even cure themselves. I’m not attaching any name here, but I want to let the world know that when such thing happens in my party, I want to scratch the paladin’s eyes out! Oh, mind you, I wouldn’t be as ticked off if paladin ran out of MP because they didn’t have any form of refresh assistance. Excuse me? Auto Refresh, Refresh, Devotion, yet you still manage to run out of mp? Are you kidding me?

Merit abilities had proven to be very useful in such situation. My fully merited Devotion helped a great deal, and Ark has his TP => MP convert move, which I could never remember the name.

Anyway, back to the story, we finally beat Cuelebre. Shame the dagger didn’t drop /comfort Kennchann.

Good battle, friends. I was very impressed. ^^ Was a fun fight.

Not trying to brag or anything, but I think we’re very good team. And maybe since we’re all close friends and had fought through a lot in FFXI together, we cooperated very well. Had I, or they, been in any party with same job setup with other people, I don’t think the result would be as cool. I think we have perfect harmony. Though DK said after we won that his THF/RNG might have dealt more DMG to the beast than his PUP.  >w<)/

Continuing from our attempt to ceat Zilart and Promathia missions, next target was to get “Storms of Fate” done by fighting the Wyrm King himself. It’s been a dream of Cornie for very long time to fight Bahamut (and of course, to win against him) but we’re just gotten the chance to attempt it yesterday. So I’m posting this entry on 15 August page.

After weeks of day-dreaming because of thin population, Cornie finally got enough bodies to confront Bahamut. By enough I meant 6…. A full party of balanced setup, I guess. So we had PLD, DRK, DRK, RDM, WHM, and BRD. Plan was to kill him as quick as possible while keeping the hate on PLD just do the 2 DRKs don’t get beaten on.

We entered, all hyped up! Bahamut is such a big bad wyrm. Up close he’s even taller than my PC screen. Couldn’t fit in the camera view LOL!

Final touch of buffing. I still regret we didn’t talk about haste order and haste partners. Because later on I noticed that I and Koozie were casting haste on same people sometimes, wasting a bif of the precious  MP and time.

Anyway, it didn’t go as planned. I think Amaru ran in and engaged, and either used 2 hr or didn’t get a chance to, then everyone got Terrorized. Was a big ass AoE range. Both the mages were frozen in terror, unable to cure people. Both DDs were frozen and couldn’t do damage. Paladin was also frozen and couldn’t tank. LOL.

Then the big bully cured himself with Cure V. Gahhhhhhhh!!! You bastard!

Anyway, after we got a chance to recover, mages ran out of the Terror range and tossed Cures. The fight went quite well until some people got Silenced (not me) so things started acting up. Amaru the DRK died, then after a while, DK the PLD also died…. Due to lack of cure. I have to admit I cannot keep up with the battle. Too many people to cure, plus my Solace got dispelled and I didn’t even notice it until a bit later. So all my Cures before I realized about Afflautus Solace didn’t maximize the use of WHM’s ability. I’m so angry at myself.

So…it was pretty much one angry Wyrm against Dark Knight, 1V1, almost all the time. Cornelious put up a tough fight. I would say it made things easier for healers because now we had only 1 person to cure, LOL!

I was so excited because he was doing good. I, or we, actually didn’t expect to win at that time, since we had 2 deaths already. Amaru got RR and was back up but he was still weakened. And something went wrong with Dragonkng’s RR, so it was gone when he died. He swore it must have gotten dispelled. I had no idea what happened back then, because my RR is completely immune to all forms of dispels ever since that December 2008 update.

So we mages and bard stood back here watching Cornie fight one on one against Bahamut. Amaru waiting for his weakness to wear off. Dragonkng had to stay on the ground like that. It took so long….the battle seemed like eternity. We (or Cornie) got him down to 7%, then I was all out of MP. I even used my Benediction. Used my Penury, Divine Seal, Cure V, Cure III, everything. Then I had to sit while Koozie and Nirmal still worked.

The Megaflare and Gigaflare were damn scary. Cornie said my Afflatus Solace which grants Stoneskin on Cure, specially Cure V, was such a savior. Yeah I really like my Cure’s mini Stoneskin too. I ate Gigaflare and lived….taking 9xx dmg. Then I really ran out of MP by the time Amaru could come back to fight. He rushed in to help Corn….

But oops….wahhh it’s too late!

Cornie finally died.

Koozie died while curing. I think he ate a Megaflare with Corn.

Amaru engaged, but I had main hate right after Cornie died.

Then, Nirmal ran pass me, I can’t remember why, maybe was to Ballad me, or running away from Bahamut, LOL!!

The is the scariest shot…. Wyrm King glaring at me. He flew towards me, while Amaru tried to whack on his tail. Then I saw something… Maybe it was Firaga IV.

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!

I died too close to Bahamut because I was panicked and didn’t run for safe spot. ; ;

ก่อนอื่นต้องออกตัวก่อนนะคะ ว่าปรกติแล้วเราไม่ใช่คนที่ชอบหัวเราะเยาะในเคราะห์กรรมของคนอื่น ต่อให้เป็นแค่เรื่องในเกมก็ตามที แต่วันนี้มีมลทินไปแล้วค่ะ เพราะว่ามีเรื่องที่ทำให้เราระเบิดเสียงหัวเราะเยาะใครบางคนอย่างเต็มอกเต็มใจเลยทีเดียว

แต่ขอเท้าความก่อน เมื่อวานนี้เราลงไปใน Kuftal Tunnel เพื่อไปทำเควสต์ Magian Trial (จริง ๆ มันชื่อ Trial of the Magians แต่ขี้เกียจเรียกยาวง่ะ) สำหรับอาวุธ Hand-to-Hand ชื่อ Barracudas ซึ่งต้องทำ Howling Fist ใส่ศัตรูพวก Vermin ทั้งหมด 300 ครั้ง เมื่อวานนี้ก็ลงอุโมงค์ ไปตีแมงมุม ใช้ท่าไปเกือบ 50 ครั้งได้ ก็ยังเหลืออีกสักประมาณ 250 กว่า ๆ แล้วก็เกิดหิว เลยลงไปหาอะไรกิน ปล่อยตัวเองยืน AFK อยู่ตรงที่ที่ปลอดภัย ปรากฏว่าระหว่างที่กินข้าว เนตก็ตัด ทำให้หลุดออกจากเกม ด้วยความที่เริ่มเบื่อ ๆ แล้วก็ขี้เกียจ บวกกับอารมณ์ไม่ค่อยดี เลยตัดสินใจไม่เข้าเกมดีกว่า นอนอ่านการ์ตูนแก้เซ็งแทน

First of all, I have to remind you that I am not the kind of person who usually laughs on other people’s misfortune, even when it’s just in-game misfortune. But guilty enough, today there was an incident which had me burst out laughing.

Some background….. Yesterday I was in Kuftal Tunnel for my Barracudas Trial (#1197) which requires me to conduct Howling Fist 300 times on any Vermin enemy. I had it down to about 250 and went to a safe spot to AFK. So I AFK for a long time during dinner, and came back to find out that I got kicked off the game because my internet got disconnected. I decided to not log back in because I was bored anyway…. I’ve been having a dull mood and feeling kind of antisocial for quite a few days….so reading comic books in my bed was the best option.

พอมาวันนี้อารมณ์ดีขึ้นนิดหน่อยเลยเข้าไปอีกที มีคนอื่นกำลังฆ่าแมงมุมอยู่ก่อนแล้ว ก็เลยไปสอย ๆ มาฆ่าบ้างสองสามตัว ในใจก็ระแวงว่าเฮ้ย ไอ้นั่นมันจะมาด่าเราป่าววะ ว่ามาทีหลังแล้วมาแย่งแมงมุมมัน แล้วก็คิดไปต่าง ๆ นานาว่าถ้าเค้าเข้ามาบ่นหรือหาเรื่องอะไรนะ จะเถียงกลับว่าตูมาก่อนต่างหาก มาตั้งแต่เมื่อวาน!! (น้ำขุ่นโคตร ๆ 555) แต่คนนั้นเค้าก็ไม่ได้มายุ่งอะไรกับเรา ไม่ได้สนใจเลยด้วยซ้ำ แต่เราก็ค่อย ๆ กระดืบลงไปชั้นล่างเหมือนเมื่อวาน ที่หลบพาลาดินกัลก้าคนนั้นอ่ะ

ทุกอย่างเป็นไปอย่างราบรื่น บางทีเวลาที่วนขึ้นมาชั้นบนจะเจอพาลาดินคนเดิม เราก็จิ๊กแมงมุมจากในห้องโถงใหญ่มาบ้าง แต่เค้าก็ไม่ว่าอะไร หันไปฆ่าแมงมุมตัวอื่นแทน เพราะมันยังมีเหลือเยอะพอให้แบ่งกันได้ บางทีเค้าก็หันเข้าไปในช่องที่จะลงไปชั้นล่าง ซึ่งเป็นที่มั่นของเรา แต่ก็กลับออกมา คงเพราะไม่อยากสู้ทีละ 2 ตัวมั้ง เราก็เลยลงไปมุดอุโมงค์นั้นอย่างเก่าแทน จะได้ไม่ต้องแย่งกัน เออก็ไม่ได้เป็นคนดีขนาดที่หลีกทางให้ทุกคนหรอกนะ แค่รู้สึกว่าวันนี้อารมณ์ไม่เสถียร ไม่สามารถทนรับแรงกดดันจากสถานการณ์ที่ต้องแก่งแย่งกันได้ ถ้าฉวยเจอพวกปากหมาเข้าเดี๋ยวจะซวยเพราะมีน้ำโห…. เลยไปหาที่เงียบ ๆ (มืด ๆ) อยู่คนเดียวสบายใจกว่า

Today I felt a tad better, so I logged back in. I saw someone killing Spiders, which was my target. I killed a few Spiders in the big room, thinking what should I do if the person gets mad at me for being his competitor. I was thinking I would tell him that I was here first, since yesterday!! (lame excuse lmao) But he or she didn’t seem to care about me though. However, just like yesterday when I avoided that Galka PLD doing his Calamity trial on Spiders, I moved to the tunnel leading down and killed Spiders in lower area instead.

Everything went just fine. I ran into the same Galka PLD again and stole one spider from the area, he didn’t say a thing and went on to kill other Spiders, because there were plenty of them. Then he looked in “my” tunnel (lol) and turned back. I guess he wanted to avoid links. So though we could share the big room, I went back down the tunnel to avoid him again. No, I’m not a good person, I avoided them only because I hate competition. And my mood was still too unstable to deal with any kind of pressure (or any jerk) so it felt more comfortable to just go where no one camps.

อย่างไรก็ดี เราออกจากเกมเพื่อไปหาของกินมื้อเย็น แล้วพอกินเสร็จก็กลับมาใหม่ แล้วก็เห็นคนมายืนรวมสุมหัวกันเต็มไปหมดตรงที่ที่เราออกจากเกม เป็นพวกมารอวัน Earthsday เพื่อทำ Trial ฆ่าซาโบเทน (Plantoid)  เราก็ลงไปมุดอุโมงค์เหมือนเดิม แล้วเจอคนอีกขบวนนึงกำลังวิ่งฆ่าแร็พเตอร์อย่างเมามัน เป็นพวกทำ Trial ประเภท Lizard killer รอบแรกที่วิ่งสวนกัน คิดว่าพวกนั้นคงฆ่าแมงมุมไปบ้างแหละ เพราะแมงมุมมันดุ อาจจะ aggro ใครไปบ้าง ส่วนเราก็ฆ่าแร็พเตอร์ไป 2 ตัวเหมือนกัน เพราะโดนมันกัดก่อน แต่รอบหลังจากนั้น ก็เห็นเลยว่าพวกเค้าพยายามไม่ไปใกล้แมงมุม จะได้ไม่ต้องฆ่ามัน เหลือไว้ให้เราแทน เราก็เดินเลือกสอยแมงมุมได้สบาย ๆ ไม่ต้องกลัวแร็พเตอร์กัดเลย เพราะเค้าฆ่าไปหมด แหม่ สบายดีจริงจริ๊งงงง ชอบ ๆ ^^ ขอบคุณมาก

หลังจากนั้นขบวนล่าแร็พเตอร์ก็หายไป ไม่รู้หมดวันที่เควสต์กำหนดแล้วหรือไงเนี่ย แล้วเราก็เจอโจรตัวนึง เป็นทารุทารุ ซึ่งจะขอไม่ออกนามในที่นี้ เพราะไม่ได้ต้องการทำลายชื่อเสียงของใคร กร๊าก

นายคนนี้อยู่ชั้นล่างค่ะ ตรงที่ที่เราวิ่งไปมาอยู่ก่อน เค้ามากับ NPC ที่เสือกชื่อเหมือนของเรา คือ Khuma… ชิส์!

นายนั่นฆ่าทั้งแมงมุมและแร็พเตอร์ แล้วก็ยืนตั้งมั่นอยู่ในห้องที่ NM Arachne จะเกิด เราก็เลยเต้นล่องหนแล้วหลบศัตรู เดินล่วงหน้าไปก่อน รอให้แมงมุมตัวต่อไปเกิด คือรอบที่แล้วเราเป็นคนฆ๋าแมงมุมหมดทั้งห้องไง เลยพอจะรู้ลำดับเกิดใหม่ของมัน พอฆ่าเสร็จก็กลับขึ้นไปที่อุโมงค์เชื่อมระหว่างชั้นล่างและชั้นบนเหมือนเดิม เราก็พยายามอดทนไม่ไปหาเรื่องเค้าอะนะ แล้วก็เพื่อไม่ให้ตัวเองหงุดหงิด ก็พยายามบอกตัวเองว่า มันเป้นสิทธิ์ของเค้า เราไม่ได้เป็นเจ้าของแมงมุมแถวนี้ซะหน่อย แล้วก็หุบปากเงียบแย่งกันเคลมแมงมุมไปเรื่อย ๆ เราก็กดดูเครื่องแต่งกายของนายทารุคนนั้น พบว่าเค้าใช้มีดธรรมดาสองข้างเลย ไม่ได้ทำเควสต์แต่ประการใด คาดว่าคงมาเก็บเลเวลให้น้อง NPC (บังเอิญเห็นตอนน้องเลเวลอัพเป็น 44 พอดีด้วย) หรือไม่ก็มาฟาร์มใยแมงมุม

รวมเวลาทั้งหมดแล้วน่าจะเกิน 45 นาที เพราะเค้าอยู่นานอย่างน้อยก็ 3 รอบของการรีป๊อป แล้วปัญหาก็มาเกิดเอาตอนรอบสุดท้ายนี่แหละ…

อ๊ะ ก่อนหน้านั้นขอเล่าก่อนว่า รอบก่อน ๆ เกิดอะไรขึ้นบ้าง ถ้าจำไม่ผิด ตอนรอบ 2 เราเพิ่งฆ่าแมงมุมตัวนึงเสร็จ แล้วก็กำลังเล็งตัวต่อไป ชักอาวุธออกมาแล้วด้วยแต่มันยังเข้าไม่ถึงระยะ พอดีเจ้าทารุนั่นก็วิ่งผ่านมา แบบไม่ได้สนใจจะสู้กับแมงมุม แต่แมงมุมมันวิ่งตามทารุไป… เราก็วิ่งตาม แต่ตามไม่ทันสักที เลยต้องใช้ท่า Chi Blast ระยะไกล เพื่อจองแมงมุม ก็ได้ตัวมา ไม่มีอะไรเกิดขึ้น โจรทารุก็เดินไปนั่ง พักรอ MP ของ NPC ไป

หลังจากนั้นขบวนไล่ล่าแร็พเตอร์ก็วนกลับมาอีกครั้ง ส่วนพวกเราสองคนก็แย่งกันตีแมงมุมต่อไปเหมือนเดิม เจ้าทารุนั่นได้แมงมุมตัวสุดท้ายที่เกิดในห้องนั้นไป เราก็เลยทำท่า /cry ใส่แมงมุม แสดงความสุดแสนจะเสียดาย ก็ไม่มีอะไรเกิดขึ้น แยกย้ายกันไปทางใครทางมัน

Anyway, I logged out for dinner (just to keep my food effect from wearing off lol) and came back again after. I saw a lot of people gathering near my log off spot, waiting for Earthsday to start killing Sabotenders for their Plantoid killer trial. I went down the tunnel, and found a group of people running through, killing all the Raptors. On the first time they passed me, they seemed to have killed some Spiders on the way, because Spiders aggro, of course. And I killed 2 Raptors because I got aggroed too. But after that, they seemed to take best care to only kill Raptors. So I had a very good time down there picking only Spiders. ^^ Was cool. Thanks guys!

Then, that group left, probably because their Trial day ended. And I ran into a Tarutaru Thief. Now, he (I’ll just assume it’s a he) was the trouble. I will not mention his name here, because I’m not trying to discredit him.

Anyway, he was in the lower area with his NPC….which, unfortunately, has the same name as mine, Khuma!

He was killing all the Spiders in Arachne room, so I had to Spectral Jigs and run ahead to fish for the next pops (because last time I killed them all, so I kinda knew the pop order) then ran backwards to camp the tunnel. I tried to put up with him by telling myself that Spiders aren’t mine, and he also had the rights to kill whatever he wants. So I said nothing. I competed pulling against him for a while, because I checked him and noticed that he wasn’t wearing any Trial weapon. So, I assumed he was just leveling up his NPC (I saw he lv’ing up to 44 too) or just farming Spider Web.

He was around for at least 3 rounds of respawn, so I figured it was about 45 mins or more. Then on the last round of pops that he stayed for, the trouble emerged.

Oh, but before that, on the 2nd round of pop, I was just done killing a Spider and was engaged a new one, then he ran past, showing no desire to take the Spider, however, the Spider aggroed him and follow him, so I had to use my Chi Blast, and got the mob. I saw from the corner of my eyes that he sat down to rest his NPC’s MP.

Then the Raptor train came again and killed some Raptor, while I, as well as that Tarutaru Thief continued to kill Spiders. The Taru got the last Spider that popped in that room, so I did a /cry emote on the Spider, and left, heading upstairs for some stray Spiders.

ทีนี้รอบสุดท้ายเนี่ยสิ อีตานั่นไปถึงห้อง Arachne ก่อนเรา แล้วก็กำลังตีแมงมุมอยู่ เราก็เลยวิ่งแซง ล่วงหน้าไปก่อน หลบแร็พเตอร์ ไปจับแมงมุมมาตัวนึง พอฆ่ามันเสร็จ ก็มีแมงมุมอีกตัวเกิดตรงกลางห้อง ระหว่างเรากับเค้าพอดี เราก็ชักอาวุธออกมาแล้ววิ่งเข้าหา แต่แมงมุมวิ่งพุ่งเข้าใส่โจรทารุทันที เพราะอีตานั่นใช้ Ranged attack ดึงแมงมุมไป ปรกติเราไม่ชอบยุ่งกับมอนสเตอร์ของคนอื่น แต่แบบว่าเรามีความรู้สึก(เห็นแก่ตัว)ว่าเรามีสิทธิ์ไง เพราะเราก็ engage อยู่แล้ว แล้วเค้าก็ยังสู้กับแร็พเตอร์ไม่เสร็จ แมงมุมเลยยังไม่เป็นของใคร แถม ranged attack ของเค้าก็ missed ด้วย พลังเลยยังเป็น 100% อยู่ ก็เลยตัดสินใจเดินหน้าต่อ แล้วไปแย่งแมงมุมมา แล้วก็ถอยออกไปห่าง ๆ เค้า เผื่อมันใช้ท่า AoE Spider Web เค้าจะได้ไม่พลอยติด Slow ไปด้วย

ที่ไหนได้ มันโกรธค่ะ มันโกรธ (เผือกก็โกรธ) แล้วก็พูดขึ้นมาว่า “tramp ”

เรารู้ว่า tramp หมายถึงพวกเร่ร่อน พเนจร ไร้บ้าน บลา ๆ ๆ เพราะตอนสมัยประถมเคยดูการ์ตูนวอลท์ ดิสนีย์ เรื่อง Lady and the Tramp แล้วสงสัยเลยไปเปิดดิคชันนารีดูอ่ะ แต่ก็ง้ง…งง ว่ามันพูดขึ้นมาในบริบทนี้จะหมายความว่าอะไรฟะ แต่ก็เดา ๆ ว่ามันก็คงด่านั่นแหละ เพราะเราเดาไปแล้วว่าเค้าโกรธ แล้วก็คงจะอยากด่าเรา แต่ตอนนั้นไม่มีอารมณ์ไปเปิดดิคชันนารีดูว่ามันแปลว่าอะไร ก็เลยถามกลับไปว่า “What!?” โดยที่หวังว่าเค้าจะโวยกลับมาว่า เมิงแย่งแมงมุมของกรู แล้วเราจะได้เถียงกลับให้เต็มที่เลย ว่าแล้วก็รีบรุด พิมพ์ประโยคตอบเอาไว้ประมาณว่า โทษทีเว้ย มันเกิดมาแล้วยังไม่มีคนเคลม ใครจะเอาก็ได้ ของฟรีย่ะ แต่เค้าก็ตอบกลับมาแบบย้ำคำเดิมว่า “tramp!?” เราก็เลยลบ ๆ ที่พิมพ์ไว้ (ชิส์) แล้วก็ตอบกลับไปด้วยระบบแปลภาษาว่า “I don’t speak any French.” (สารภาพตามตรงว่า ทำไปเพื่อกวนตรีน)

แล้วเราก็นั่งหัวเราะคิกคัก เพราะระหว่างที่เกิดกระบวนการที่บรรยายไปแล้วนั้น โจรทารุก็โลภ ดึงแร็พเตอร์ไปสู้อีกตัว ก็เลยสู้อยู่ 2 แต่ทีนี้แร็พเตอร์อีกตัวข้างหลังเค้าอ่ะมาช่วยรุมอีก เลยต้องสู้ 3  ซึ่งเราก็แค่ขำอะนะ เพราะคิดว่าแค่ 3 ตัวนี่ของหมู ๆ เพราะเราสู้ศัตรูในนั้นได้ทีละ 3 ตัวโดยไม่ตายเหมือนกัน แต่ต้องใช้ทักษะแทบทุกอย่างให้หมด เช่น Focus, Dodge, Perfect Counter, Drain Samba II, และโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง Chakra เมื่อโดนพิษหรือพลังลดมาก ๆ

Now, to the last round….. He arrived to the Arachne room before me and was killing a Recluse Spider. So I ran ahead, avoiding Velociraptor, and pulled a Spider, I finished it, meanwhile another Spider popped, so I engaged and ran to it. However, the Taru Thief, who was already engaged and fighting a Raptor, must have Ranged attacked it. I saw that, but decided to not back off, because I engaged first anyway, and his ranged attack missed, leaving it at 100% health, unclaimed (because he was still fighting Raptor.) So I hit the Recluse Spider, and ran off far from him, just so he won’t get the Spider Web if it used that move, but instead he said “tramp ”

I know tramp means vagabond or homeless, because I looked it up in dictionary when I was in elementary school, after watching Walt Disney’s cartoon, Lady and the Tramp, but I have no idea what would it mean in such context. However, I had a feeling that he was angry and was trying to insult me. I didn’t have the mood to dig into online dictionary at the moment, so I just said…

“What!?” and hoped he would assume I knew it was an insult (I didn’t want to lose face by asking him “What do you mean by tramp?”) I also expected to find out if he was really mad at me for the reason I guessed by having him yell at me something like “You stole my mob!”  So I was typing a response “It popped and was unclaimed, sorry it’s fair game, dude.” But instead, he just repeat “tramp!?” so I rolled my eyes and deleted my message, and put “I don’t speak any French.” from auto-translator instead. I have to admit, I picked that just to annoy him LOL.

I was giggling at the time, because while all of the above were happening, he pulled another Raptor and got 2 mobs on him as he wanted, but the 3rd Raptor came by and added, so he now had 3. Well, 3 wasn’t a problem for a Thief, I would assume. Because I could tackle 3 mobs at a time in Kuftal Tunnel without dying. I just need to use all I got, Focus, Dodge, Perfect Counter, Drain Samba II, and Chakra when I got poisoned.

นายนั่นก็ไม่ได้พูดอะไรอีก เราก็เลยเตรียมตัวที่จะเดินจากไป แล้วก็เห็นแมงมุมเกิด….. แต่เรากำลังสู้อยู่อ่ะ แถมยังกดหน้าจอย้อนขึ้นไปอ่าน chatlog เพลินอ่ะ เลยไม่ได้สังเกตว่าเป็น NM Arachne แล้วพอเราปิด chatlog กลับมาดูภาพเหมือนเดิม ก็เห็นคาตาว่าน้อง Khuma หายไป เราก็เลยหัวเราะคิกคักอีกหน่อย เพราะคิดว่า Khuma ตายเนื่องจากมันโดนรุมมาก แต่พอเรากำลังเดินหนี ก็เห็นว่าแร็พเตอร์ตายไปตัวนึง อีกตัวจู่ ๆ ก็หายไป อีกตัวยืนอยู่กับที่…. แล้วแมงมุมที่ยืนเด่นเป็นสง่าอยู่ข้าง ๆ นั่นก็คือ Arachne ที่น่าสะพรึงกลัว เราก็เลยเผ่น ไปหาที่ปลอดภัยอยู่ แล้วกลับไปอ่าน chatlog อีกที

ตอนแรกเรานึกว่าเค้าสู้ไม่ไหวเลยวาร์ปหนีกลับเมืองไง แต่พอเลื่อนขึ้นไปอ่านแล้วเพิ่งเห็นประโยคนี้ “Xxxx was defeated by Arachne.” เราก็ดู ๆ ไปเรื่อย ๆ เห็นว่า Arachne มีการใช้ Sickle Slash ใส่ทารุด้วย O_o อะไรเนี่ย เหอ ๆ สรุปว่าเค้าโดนแมงมุมสับตาย…. เราก็เลยยิ่งขำเข้าไปใหญ่ เอิ๊ก ๆ ๆ ฮ่า ๆ

แล้วเราก็ลอง search ชื่อเค้าดู เผื่อว่าเค้ามีทีท่าว่าจะกลับมาอีก จะได้ระวัง ๆ ไว้ แต่ปรากฏว่าเค้าเปลี่ยนอาชีพเป็น SAM80 แล้วกำลังหาปาร์ตี้อยู่ ขึ้นคอมเมนท์ไว้ว่า ขอเป็น Abyssea บลา ๆ กรั่กกกกก ถ้าไม่ใช่เพราะเค้าเบื่ออุโมงค์แล้ว  เราก็เดาว่าน่าจะเป็นเพราะมันโมโหโทโสมาก ๆ เพราะเค้าคงคิดว่าตัวเองถูก แล้วเราเป็นพวกไม่ดี แต่ดั๊นนนนนนมาตายให้เราเห็นซะนี่ โคตรจะเสียหน้าเลย คือถ้าเป็นเราเราคงแค้นสุด ๆ ของที่สุดอ่ะ ฮ่า ๆ แต่คิดไปคิดมา เค้าอาจจะไม่ได้แคร์อะไรเลยก็ได้นะ ส่วนเรา มาย้อนดูตัวเอง เอ๊ะนี่เราเป็นอะไร ปรกติเราไม่เคยหัวเราะเวลาคนอื่นซวยนี่หว่า แถมนี่ยังหัวเราะทั้ง ๆ ที่คิดว่าเค้าคงจะหงุดหงิดและโมโหด้วย กร๊าก เอาวะ โทษสภาพอารมณ์ละกัน แบบว่าอาทิตย์นี้อารมณ์ไม่ปรกติอ่ะ ไม่งั้นเราจะเป็นมิตรมากกว่านี้นะ

He didn’t say anything back, so I was preparing to leave, when I saw a Spider popped. I was too busy fighting my own Spider, as well as checking chatlog so I didn’t notice that it was the Arachne herself. What I saw on my screen when I closed my chatlog was that his NPC, Khuma, disappeared, so I giggled some more, and thought she got killed because he had too many mobs on him. But then when I was stepping away, I saw that one Raptor died, one stayed, and one depopped, beside the Raptor, stood the intimidating Spider, “Arachne.” So I Spectral Jigs and ran out of the damn place.

At first I thought he warped back town because he couldn’t handle them, but when I got to the safe place and checked my chatlog again, I noticed the line “Xxxx was defeated by Arachne.” I read on….and was like OMG She Sickle Slash’ed his Tarutaru ass. LOL, that had me laughing so hard in front of my computer.

Then I searched, just to be careful should he be returning again, but he changed job to SAM80 and put up a Search Comment for Abyssea EXP pt. If it wasn’t because he was bored, he must have been so pissed off. I’m imagining that he must have thought he was in the right, and I was being a jerk, yet he died in front of me, after starting a fight (?) Well I am just guessing, because in that situation if I was him I would have been so damn pissed. But actually he might not even care at all. XD  Oh hmm… it’s weird for me to still laugh at people’s misfortune when I know well that they have a reason to be angry. LOL!!! I blame it on my mental this week. I usually am more friendly than today….I swear.

ยังไงก็ตาม เราไม่ใช่เค้าและเค้าก็ไม่ใช่เรา ถ้ามองในมุมตัวเองเราก็คิดว่าเราจำเป็นต้องใช้แมงมุม แล้วเราก็ไม่ได้งก ไม่ได้โลภ เหมาศัตรูทีเดียว 2 ตัวด้วย (ยกเว้นถ้ามันเป็นแมงมุมทั้งคู่ เพราะยังไง ๆ มันก็ต้องลิ้งค์อยู่ดี) แล้วเราก็ไม่ได้ไปหาเรื่อง(ด้วยปาก)กับใครก่อน และที่สำคัญที่สุดคือ การที่เราต้องทำ Howling Fist ตั้ง 300 ที แถมจำกัดศัตรูว่าต้องเป็น Vermin เท่านั้นเนี่ย ทำให้เราอารมณ์บูดมากถึงมากที่สุด! ก็เลยขอเห็นแก่ตัวหน่อยเถอะวะ เพราะตูมีสิทธิ์ ตูมีสิทธิ์! ตูทำเควสต์นะเว้ยยยยย

คิดแบบนี้อาจจะไม่ยุติธรรม เค้าอาจจะจำเป็นต้องฆ่าแมงมุมด้วยเหตุผลบางอย่างก็ได้ เช่นอาจจะล่าใยแมงมุมไปทำ Clothcraft ที่แสนยากลำบาก แต่ แต่ แต่….มันก็ช่วยไม่ได้นี่! ก็แข่งกันแบบแฟร์ ๆ แล้วอ่ะ โธ่ ก็ถ้าจำเป็นต้องใช้แมงมุมมากขนาดนั้น… มากขนาดที่ถึงกับต้องหาเรื่องด่าคู่แข่งเนี่ย เวลาเคลมศัตรู ก็เคลมแมงมุมก่อนเซ่ อย่าปล่อยให้ใครแย่งได้ เชอะ! เพราะเวลาเราต้องใช้ศัตรูตัวไหน เราก็ทำแบบนั้นตลอดแหละ โดยเฉพาะตอนแก่งแย่งศัตรูตอนทำ FoV จะยอมให้ใครแย่งทำไม

อ๊ะ แล้วที่เราหัวเราะน่ะไม่ได้เพราะเค้าตายเท่านั้นนะ แต่เพราะเริ่มจาก เค้าเข้ามาแย่งที่ของเรา (ขี้ตู่จริงกรู 555) แล้วแย่งศุตรูที่เราจำเป็นต้องใช้ แล้วก็หาเรื่อง (ถึงแม้ว่าที่จริงมันจะเริ่มจากการที่เราไปขโมยแมงมุมเค้าก่อนก็เถอะ) แล้วสุดท้ายก็แพ้ภัยตัวเองตาย เราก็เลยรู้สึกว่ากระบวนการทั้งหมดทั้งปวงนี่แหละที่โคตรขำ แล้วถ้าจะให้พูดกันตรง ๆ แล้ว ที่ทำให้ขำที่สุดคือ ปรกติเราไม่เค้ยไม่เคยที่จะนึกอยากหัวเราะในชะตากรรมอันโหดร้ายของใครในเกม แต่ทารุทารุรายนี้ทำให้เราอยากหัวเราะอ่ะ ซึ่งมันแปลก กร๊าก

ทำให้รู้สึกชั่วร้ายพิกล

However, I wasn’t in his shoes. I was there first, I needed the Spiders for my trial, I didn’t try to get 2 mobs at a time (except when both are spiders, because they link anyway,) and I didn’t pick a fight with other campers. Most of all, having to do 300 Howling Fist weapon skills (esp. on Vermin only) put me in a foul mood. So I was in a selfish mode, thinking I had the rights of the way, because I was doing my Trial quest, while he wasn’t.

Well, that thought was kinda unfair, maybe he needed the Spider, maybe he was farming for his hard-to-level-up-Clothcraft, but, but, guhhh! It’s a fair game. I personally think if he needed the Spider so much, much enough to pick a fight with other campers, he should have just pulled the spiders, or engaged the Spider first, not second. SO that no one can steal it away. Well, at least that’s what I do, especially while doing FoV.

Oh and I laughed at that not just because he died, but because he intruded “my” camp, then took the mobs that I needed, then started (though it was actually  because I “stole” his mob first), and proceeded to die. I found all the process extremely hilarious. And what actually made me laugh, I would say, was the fact that I hardly ever laughed at someone when they died in FFXI, yet today I felt like laughing at that Tarutaru.

This made me feel evil.

P.S. I haven’t made the category “FFXI Foes” yet, so I have to put this entry in my peeves section.

After a week of no FFXI, due to real life work’s time pressure, I returned to playing again on 31ts of July 2010. Hmmm or maybe it was 2 weeks…. But the first week I still played, if you consider standing AFK in Cape Teriggan all day, and coming back every 2 hrs to do FoV pages “playing FFXI.” LOL! Well, at times I would go to do CoP misisons with friends, provided Dragonkng and helpers were on, and use like the whole afternoon in the game… So my work wasn’t progressing well. So, after a few days, I decided to just stop logging onto the game at all, because I know I can’t resist the enjoyable distractions.

Anyway, as soon as I logged onto my Mithra, I got a tell from Joma, asking if I needed Abyssea party, since they were looking for a healer. I’ve turned down his offer many time because my schedule didn’t agree or sometimes there was a reason why I didn’t want to join, but today I was all free and I wanted some EXP really badly, so I said YES! I headed to Tahrongi Canyon and joined them inside the Maw. They were having a full alliance party, consisting of many melee DDs and a few mages, and were killing the black Mandy.

I was about half way through 78 and been slacking off on leveling up my WHM ever since….. I dunno. Let’s just say that I was having a big blast with my Monk from 75 to 80 and was so happy to be on Monk lv 80 kicking asses, stomping stuff, and ramming my Asuran Fists on Easy Prey – Decent Challence enemies. I could do FoV pages all day long just because I love my monk so much that FoV doesn’t feel boring at all. So yeah…. My WHM got kind of neglected LOL! I would get only less than 10k EXP on WHM each day, making it so slow to get to 80, but I didn’t worry at all. Boo me if you want, hahaha!

So…..this Saturday is a day I would never forget.

Starting at about 26000 exp on lv 78. Oh, and I entered the zone with 65 mins that was left over from my last visit (unsuccessful NM hunt, damn turtle!)

I got to lv 79, gaining around 20k exp, in just 1 hour. It starts off slow, because we have to stay in here long time and build up the aura to benefit more from the various bonus.

1 hour and 8 minutes after previous screenshot, I gaines about 32k exp. It’s picking up a little.

The next 23k exp only took 20 mins. So I dinged 80!! Notice the undersub SCH! LOL! It’s been stuck at 39 for forever. Because 37 was enough for a proper sub job, I didn’t care to level my SCH up anymore and left off at 39.

Then after a long time…. I think I capped my EXP on WHM 80 already too, and so it switched to Merit mode. I remember that I was so close to gaining 5th Merit Points before coming here, so we’ll start counting after this 5th Merit.

Took me 25 minutes to get 6th, 7th, and then 8th, netting 3 Merit Points. Isn’t this incredible?

At one point we were getting 500+ EXP per kill! So in just under 20 minutes, I got my 10th Merit points….Making me sad because I would have to leave to spend my Merit Points in order to not waste any EXP because it’s hitting cap.

At 10/10 Merit Points, the Limit Points stored would stay at 9999/10000. So I had to warp…. Boo!

So yeah, nearing the end, I was getting 10k EXP per 10 minutes.

Too bad I had to start building up my EXP bonus all over from the floor again, at about 120 EXP per kill. But it was still fast. I think I left the party at like 7.30 PM because I was hungry. So I made it off with 2 and a half levels (about 100,000 exp) and 15 Merit Points (150,000 lp)

Oh…. wow…. To see the number is mind boggling LOL! I didn’t know I’ve gained that much EXP O_o Wow! Just wow!

Was a good big comeback, eh?

Been so damn busy with work, racing against time and deadline. I feel a bit stressed out, and was looking for a way to temporarily escape relax, and thought I could upload some screenshots from my first week in “sea.”

The first creature to greet me once I was set free from an epic cutscene was Ul’hpemde, or the friendly “Goldfish.” I personally would call it a Pink Dolphin, LOL! But well, yeah it has soft, waving tail and fins that look more like a goldfish.

The monsters in Hpemde family are non-aggressive. You could even cast spells like Flash on it, and it won’t attack you, as long as you do no damage to its HP. So it is said to be a great target to skill up your non-damage spells.

I think the reason why adventurers gave nicknames to creatures in “sea” was because the Zilartian names are so hard to read, pronounce, remember, or even spell. So, yeah, it’s easier and faster to refer to them as some simpler names.

The next one was Ul’yovra, or the famous “UFO.” Monsters in Yovra family are aggressive, and they fly high over your head, and will be not target-able until it aggro someone and come down. Corn said they’re slow and easy to kite to lose aggro, especially if you have Gravity. So he made one pop and showed me….  Heh, yeah look safe and easy, but I was still scared. He told me to go near it while he was kiting (but but …. me scared!) Oh well, he said it’s ok and it will depop (go up) soon, so I got close and took this screenshot.

It went back after a few seconds after this screenshot was taken.

Then they pulled a pair of Ul’xzomit or the “Squid.” They came in pair, called mother squid and baby squid. They do not aggro, and of course, they look very similar to squid. This was making me hungry, nummm!!!

Then, I saw a “Shark” or Ul’phuabo. The sharks are fast and aggressive. They are usually the cause of death for adventurers because they swim very fast. For me they look more like sting ray than shark, but I guess the deadly nature of Phuabo made us name them shark instead. They’re blue and have long, beautiful tail. I did not take any screenshot because I was too scared to go near them. I think I’ll have some screenshots later, after I learn and get used to the safe distance of aggro range.

Then I just ran around. First I followed Corn and Ark to the palace. But the gate was locked and I could not access without completing the mission 8-1, Garden of Antiquity.

Oh…..and after a while, I just realized that I forgot to turn on the weather effect ; ; So yeah…. I was a bit mad at myself because I’ve taken a lot of screenshot without the clouds ><;; Guhhhh!

The view with weather effect was much, much more fantastic-looking.

I was there taking screenshots and meanwhile feeling scared and unsafe, because a shark could creep up behind or below me any time. LOL!

This is the bridge of the Grand Palace, whose name is so hard to spell or remember.

The monster in this pic was one of the Aern family, non-aggressive. It has shape similar to human with wings.

Then I ran around alone looking for all 20 NPCs to talk to. This is the mini-quest to obtain map. I’m a map freak. I don’t feel safe without a map. So I usually try to get the keyitem map for every map I visit. This is one of the lucky places where I can obtain map solo since the first day of arrival.

I stayed because I like the scenery, and I wanted the map really badly. It was the combination of curiosity, fear, and excitement. Was my first day in sea after all, so I wanted to spend long time in the place.

The last NPC I found was far north, in the west corner of the crystalline field’s barrier.

That day I got my Al’Taieu map, and went to bed happily Hehehe.
